Propeller is looking for an individual interested in Data Analytics to help us transfer our current internal dashboards from Redash to Metabase.

Your Mission

We have up until recently used Redash as our BI tool of choice. Redash has been recently deprecated and we are in need of migration for ongoing support and stability of our systems. We need to migrate our most important internal dashboards from Redash to Metabase. As these platforms are not 1:1 this is where you come in. Whilst it is easy enough to copy and paste the SQL code that sits behind the charts the chart design and configuration will need to be manually created and tailored.

We have prepared a prioritised list of the most important dashboards to migrate and we need you to work down this list. The dashboards include everything from user platform usage to infrastructure monitoring.

This is a fantastic way to get some hands-on experience in interacting with a data warehouse of a growing startup and helping the way we use our data to understand our customers.

Your Skills

• Fundamental understanding of SQL - some of the queries in this migration are quite complex and we won’t expect you to understand them at all.

• Any experience with BI tools would be great but not required.

• A strong interest in analytics and getting business insights from large volumes of data.
