Trainee CAD Draftsperson

Summary

Due to recent promotion and continued success, Phewphonics is welcoming applications for the role of a Trainee CAD Draftsperson. The role will be remote. As a Trainee CAD Draftsperson, they will develop their skills in all aspects of CAD design and drafting. They will be reading and interpreting architectural plans, produce and submit joinery shop drawings, formatting and prepare drawings for manufacture via our CNC machinery.

Overview

The individual we are seeking will be able to display the following attributes:

Interest in using a CAD software program
Has a desire to pursue a career in commercial joinery
Competence in Microsoft Office suite
Effective communicator, both written, verbal and listening
Great time management and committed to agreed time frames
Positive and friendly demeanor with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Willingness to learn and develop – receptive to constructive feedback and mentoring
